Sugar-Free Simple Syrup

This sugar-free simple syrup recipe is made with the artificial sweetener Stevia.  If you prefer you can use an alternative sweetener such as sweet-n-low  or equal.  It is so easy to mix up and a better choice of sweetener if you are watching your sugar intake.

This Sugar-free Simple Syrup can be used in cocktails, tea’s, cakes and candies, or whatever other ways you can find to use it.   It can be bottled and stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.  So mix up a batch and enjoy some sugar-free simple syrup!

Sugar-Free Simple Syrup
  • Prep Time: 5m
  • Cook Time: 5m
  • Total Time: 10m


  • 1/2 c Stevia or sweetener of your choice
  • 1 c water


  1. In a saucepan add the water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add Stevia or other sweetener and stir. Boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Set aside and let cool. You can store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
